Something else you should know about me from the beginning, something I’ve discovered over time just how uniquely mine it is. That’s my long-established practice of what I came long-ago to recognize as my “morning ritual“, an essential morning time of contemplation without which I am not right for my day. During this time I “write to myself“ (the great lifesaver,) I meditate, I continue my on-going study of the world~ mostly from the point of view of my passionate and relentless desire for travel, always more and more travel, always more and more to learn of geography and culture. Occasionally, it switches-up, my attention turns to beauty, and I amaze and inspire myself with following website searches that lead me to artists who blow my mind with their out-of-the-box creativity~ big breath. Seasonally, I conduct my morning ritual outdoors, weather permitting, or otherwise at what I’ve come to call my “morning ritual table“ inside~ a space of incredible accrued richness that nourishes me beyond description (more on that later.)
